Usage and tips
You can use the large poplar wood circle as a standalone decorative base or as a base for decorations. The 19–22 cm size is particularly practical for table arrangements where you want enough space to layer dried materials, fruits, and accessories without the composition appearing "cramped". The wooden base also protects the table surface and visually unifies the entire decoration.
Tips for floristry:
• Table composition: place a bowl/box with dried materials on the circle or create a decoration directly on the wood (wood pairs beautifully with lagurus, phalaris, oats, poppy heads, or thistles).
• Seasonal arrangements: the larger diameter is ideal for Advent compositions or autumn "islands" – the wood will create a stable frame for the entire decoration.
• Wedding use: the circle is a perfect carrier for personalization (name, date, initials, table number) and also looks natural in elegant weddings in a natural style.
Engraving: if interested, we can engrave the discs in our studio (EPILOG laser). For a quote, just send the text/logo and your idea for engraving placement.
Care and maintenance
Store the slices in a dry place and away from moisture. Dust can be removed with a dry cloth or a soft brush. If you use the ring in candle decorations, always place the candle in a suitable holder/dish – wood is a natural material.
Interesting fact
Poplar wood is popular for natural decorating due to its light tone and fine grain – it is not distracting and allows dried materials and textures to stand out. As this is a cut from natural wood, each ring may vary in grain, shade, and edge. A size in the range of 19–22 cm will add natural 'handmade' authenticity to the decoration.
