Usage and tips

Poplar wood slices (poplar disc) can be used as a clean natural base for smaller arrangements of dried flowers, grasses, and fruits. The slice will help 'anchor' the composition, protect the table surface, and add a handmade, natural character to the decoration. It also works great as a base for a candle detail (we always recommend placing the candle in a suitable dish/holder).

Tips for floristry:
• For table decorations: use the slice as a base for a small bowl/box with dried materials or for a mini composition in a natural style.
• For weddings and celebrations: wood is ideal as a carrier for personalization – name, date, table number, or a short quote.
• For a "clean" look: combine it with cream and beige dried flowers (lagurus, phalaris, gypsophila) and one more pronounced accent (e.g. burgundy, dark green).

Engraving: if interested, we can engrave the discs in our studio (EPILOG laser). For a quote, just send the text/logo and your idea for engraving placement.

Care and maintenance

Store the discs in a dry place, away from moisture. If they get dusty, clean them with a dry cloth or a soft brush. When gluing decorations, use an appropriate amount of glue to avoid stains on the surface.

Poplar wood is popular for decoration mainly for its fine, light tone and "clean" grain, which does not interfere with dried flowers or natural materials. Even a simple circle can visually unify the composition – the decoration then appears tidy, natural, and thoughtful.
