Rounded driftwood pieces can be used as a natural structural element and as a decorative detail. In arrangements, they work great for "lightening" the composition – they create space, direction, and interesting lines, to which dried material can subsequently be layered. They are suitable for wreaths, bowl decorations, boxes, seasonal table arrangements, and boho decorations.
Tips from practice:
• For wreaths: use the wood pieces as a prominent natural accent (e.g., 2–3 pieces on one side) and complement them with delicate dried material (lagurus, phalaris, oats) – the wreath will gain structure and won't appear flat.
• For table decorations: lay 1–2 wood pieces as a base and arrange smaller fruits or dried material on them – you will create layers without needing a large amount of material.
• With candle holders: the wood pieces work beautifully as a natural "base" detail around candles (especially with beige/cream palettes).
Store the wood pieces in a dry place, away from moisture. If they get dusty, clean them with a soft brush or gently blow them with cold air. When gluing, use an appropriate amount of glue so that the surface retains its natural patina.
