Origin and processing
Cotton (Gossypium) originates from tropical and subtropical regions. After ripening, the seed pods naturally open, revealing delicate white fibers. For decorative purposes, the flowers are collected and then arranged by hand – in this case, they are attached with floral tape to a wire base, making the stem sturdy, easy to shape, and suitable for further creative processing.
Care and maintenance
The flowers require no maintenance, only a dry environment and protection from direct sunlight. Dust can be removed with a soft brush or cold air from a hairdryer.
