Origin and processing
Lagurus ovatus originates from the Mediterranean region, but is also grown on controlled European farms. After harvesting, it is naturally dried to preserve its delicate structure and natural beige-straw hue. The bunches are packed into bundles containing 90-100 heads of various sizes.
Care and maintenance
Rabbit grass is low-maintenance – do not expose it to direct sunlight or moisture to preserve its color and volume. If it gets dusty, gently blow it off or clean it with a dry brush. If some heads get slightly compressed, they can be carefully reshaped with your fingers or a low-heat hairdryer.
Interesting fact
The bunny grass got its name from the appearance of its fluffy ears – they resemble small bunny tails. Thanks to their soft texture and compact shape, Lagurus is among the most popular dried grasses year-round. White and cream colours symbolise purity, peace, and new beginnings – which is why this version is exceptionally suitable for wedding decorations and as a gift for newlyweds.
