Origin and processing
Phalaris, botanically known as Phalaris canariensis, is among the popular dried grasses in floristry. It is known for its compact, almost spherical seed heads that hold their shape even with frequent handling.
This grass is mainly grown in Southern and Western Europe. After harvesting, it is naturally dried and then gently colored. The light blue shade was created using an ecological dyeing process that enhances the delicacy of the shape while preserving the natural texture.
