Origin and processing
Timothy grass (Phleum pratense) originates from Europe, where it was originally used as fodder grass. Today, it is specially cultivated for decorative purposes as well. The stems are harvested by hand, gently dried, and then dyed in delicate pastel tones to preserve their natural shape and soft spikelet texture.
Care and maintenance
Maintenance-free product – does not require watering or special care. Store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. If dusty, use cold air from a hairdryer or a soft brush. For revival, a florist spray for dried flowers can be used.

The name Timothy grass was given by farmer Timothy Hanson, who spread it in the 18th century in North America. White is a symbol of purity, new beginnings, and freshness – which is why bleached timothy grass is especially popular in wedding floristry, where it adds to the feeling of lightness and elegance.
