Stabilized reindeer moss brown (Cladonia rangiferina) is a unique decorative material that combines the natural beauty of Nordic nature with long durability. Thanks to its warm earthy shade, it creates a pleasant harmony and perfectly complements interiors in a natural or minimalist style. You can use it in the production of moss pictures, wreaths, floral arrangements, or as a decorative element in a bowl, terrarium, or on a table.
Brown moss stands out particularly in combination with wood, twigs, cones, or neutral dried flowers. It is easily glued with a hot glue gun or special moss glue and is easily shaped as needed. A 250g package covers approximately 0.04 – 0.06 m², depending on the density and application method.
Care and maintenance
Stabilized moss requires no care – it is not watered, does not need light or nutrients. Place it indoors with humidity between 40–60%. Do not expose it to direct sunlight, air conditioning, or heat sources to maintain its flexibility and color saturation. If it becomes dusty, gently blow it with cold air or clean it with a soft brush. It stays beautiful for years under the right conditions.
