Product description and use
OASIS® Maxlife Classic (Florex) floral foam is a professional and versatile tool for florists and arrangers. Thanks to MAXlife quality, it keeps flowers fresh longer, reliably holds stems, and is ideal even for more delicate and thinner flowers. One block, measuring 23 × 11 × 7.7 cm, can be easily cut and shaped to suit the needs of the arrangement. For larger projects, a carton of 20 blocks is also available.
This foam is suitable for wedding decorations, table arrangements, wreaths, and funeral arrangements. It is synonymous with reliability and quality, as confirmed by its well-known designation Florex.
Tips for soaking
Fill a container with fresh water and place the OASIS® floral foam (Florex) on the surface. The block will sink on its own and absorb water evenly within 90 seconds. The container should be at least twice the height of the block and spacious enough for water to circulate around it.
- Never force the block underwater or turn it over – this can create dry spots inside.
- Never pour water from the top – the foam will not absorb properly.
- Do not insert flowers into existing holes – the foam could be damaged, and the flowers would not receive enough water.
- Always cut stems at an angle and insert them deep enough.
- Wreaths kept horizontally will retain moisture longer than hanging or vertical ones – replenish them with water regularly.
Interesting fact
In Slovakia and the Czech Republic, the name Florex is often used for OASIS® floral foam. This name has become so widespread in flower shops that it has become a synonym for floral foam in general.
