Origin and processing
Oats (Avena) were gently dried and hand-colored in Europe after harvest to a delicate pastel orange shade with a powdery tone. This natural material retains a delicate texture and the beautiful movement of its stalks, adding lightness and elegance to your arrangements. In the past, oats were used not only for nutrition but also as a decorative element in folk art, symbolizing abundance and harvest.
Care and maintenance
Dried oats require almost no care. Store them in a dry place away from moisture and sunlight. Simply remove dust with a hairdryer on a cool setting or a soft brush. To revive the ears, you can also use a spray for dried plants (e.g. SPRING pro florist).
