Nigella orientalis – also known as love-in-a-mist, black cumin, or devil in a bush – has been cultivated in Europe as a decorative plant for centuries. Its seed pods are popular for their unusual star shape. After gentle drying, the pods are hand-dyed a fresh turquoise color reminiscent of the summer sea. Care and maintenance
