Origin and processing
Nigella orientalis – also known as Eastern Nigella – was grown in Central Europe. After harvesting, its flowers were gently dried and then dyed a delicate light green color with a fruity touch. The typical round seed pods retain their shape, making them extremely popular among florists and flower arrangers.
Care and maintenance
Do not water, do not expose to sunlight or moisture. In case of dust, we recommend gently blowing it off with cool air from a hairdryer or cleaning it with a brush. A special spray for dried plants can be used for refreshing.

Nigella has a long tradition as an ornamental plant in gardens. Dried nigella orientalis has gained its place in floristry as well – especially thanks to its unique shape and exceptional durability.
