Nigella orientalis – oriental nigella (black cumin) – has been a part of gardens in the Mediterranean region for centuries. The dried seed pods are hand-picked, thoroughly dried, and later dyed a deep dark brown color. Their unique shape and firmness make them ideal for arrangements without shedding.
Care and maintenance
Nigella is perennial and maintenance-free. Simply store it in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and humidity. If necessary, gently dust with a brush or cold air.
