Origin and processing
Nigella orientalis – Eastern Nigella (black cumin) – originates from the Mediterranean and Western Asia, where it has long been cultivated for its decorative seeds. It is harvested in full maturity for use in arrangements, when the capsules have ideal firmness.
It is then dried through a natural, slow process that preserves its shape and structure. The vintage effect is created by a subtle white spray that allows the natural color to show through – intentionally uneven, with patina and spots.
Care and maintenance
Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not expose to moisture or wind – the flowers are delicate. They require no maintenance, but be gentle when handling to avoid breaking the flowers. We recommend avoiding places with high humidity, such as bathrooms or outdoors (rain, frost and winter changes). To revive the colors, use the SPRING pro Florist dried flower spray.
