Origin and processing
Nigella orientalis originates from the Mediterranean region, where it grows as a wild herb. After flowering, its decorative seed pods are harvested and then gently dried at a low temperature to preserve their shape and natural luster. The orange coloring is achieved by gentle toning with ecological dyes, which increase the durability and resistance of the plant. Each bundle is hand-sorted to contain a balanced combination of full and smaller seed heads.
Care and maintenance
Store in a dry and shaded place – protect from direct sunlight and moisture. Do not put the flowers in water! Handle with care, the heads are fragile. Remove dirt by gently blowing or with a brush. Do not expose to strong drafts – slight shedding of seeds may occur.
