Origin and processing
Nigella damascena, also known as Love-in-a-mist, originates from the Mediterranean region. It is grown in meadows and fields, where it is harvested at full maturity. Subsequently, it is gently air-dried without chemical treatments, which preserves its natural appearance and delicate structure.
Care and maintenance
Store in a dry and shaded place – protect from direct sunlight and moisture. Handle with care, the heads are fragile. Remove dirt by gently blowing or with a brush. Do not expose to strong drafts – slight shedding of seeds may occur.

Love-in-a-mist has long been cultivated not only for decorative purposes but also as a medicinal plant. Its seeds were used in folk medicine.
