Origin and processing
Glixia originates from sunny farms in South America. Our Glixia comes from Central European farms with consideration for ecological footprint. After harvesting, the flowers are hand-sorted, dried in bunches, and packed with an emphasis on preserving their shape and natural color. The burgundy pigment is intense and naturally causes some flowers to remain closed – this phenomenon is common and not a defect.
Care and maintenance
Glixia is often referred to as the 'flower of eternal happiness'. The orange color symbolizes joy, energy, and creativity – an ideal choice to liven up your home or to positively set the mood for event decorations. In traditional cultures, Glixia flowers were also used as a symbol of protection and abundance.
