Origin and processing
Glixia originates from the tropical regions of Central and South America, where it grows as a small flowering plant. It is cultivated intentionally on farms dedicated to drying flowers. After harvesting, the flowers are dried in the shade and then gently coloured with natural pigments. This allows them to retain their vibrant colour and long-lasting durability. Our glixia comes from verified growers in Central Europe.
Care and maintenance
Glixia is very durable and does not require any special care. It just needs to be protected from direct sun and moisture to maintain its yellow glow. If it gets dusty, gently blow it with cold air or clean it with a brush. If you get tired of the arrangement over time, you can easily reuse the flowers – for example in miniature decorations, scrapbooking, or gift wrapping.
