Origin and processing
Cotton originates from the tropical regions of India and Africa, but for floristic purposes, it is also grown and processed in the Mediterranean region. Each flower is hand-picked at the moment the boll naturally opens, revealing its delicate cotton fiber.
After harvesting, the flowers are gently dried and stabilized to preserve their shape, softness, and natural appearance. The color shade is created through a dyeing process with safe colors, followed by re-drying.
Care and maintenance
Dried cotton flower heads do not require any special care. Simply store them in a dry environment and protect them from direct sunlight to maintain their color and appearance.
Dust can be removed with a gentle spray for dried flowers or by very carefully blowing with air. It is recommended to store them away from moisture and strong sun.
