Origin and processing
Cotton originates from the tropical regions of India and Africa, but for floristic purposes, it is also grown and dried in the Mediterranean. Each flower is hand-picked at the moment the boll naturally opens and reveals its fluffy fiber. After drying, it is fixed to preserve its shape and softness. This dried cotton is not dyed – its color is pure natural white with slightly brown stems.
Care and maintenance
