Rye (Secale cereale) has been cultivated since ancient times, mainly in the temperate regions of Europe, as a symbol of fertility and abundance. These ears were gently dried after harvest, preserving their natural elegance. Subsequently, they were hand dyed into a light blue to turquoise ombre shade, giving each stem its own unique color character.
Dried ears are maintenance-free. Store them in a dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. If they get dusty, we recommend using a soft brush or cold air from a hairdryer. To revive them, you can use dried flower spray (e.g. SPRING pro florist).
Rye has been used for centuries not only in agriculture but also in traditional decorations during harvest festivals. Blue and turquoise colors symbolize a calm mind, trust, balance, and freedom. Their combination in an ombre effect creates a subtle yet modern visual element.
