Origin and processing
Rye (Secale cereale) is among the oldest cereals cultivated in Europe. It originates from Western Asia and spread to Europe in the Bronze Age. In the past, it was an important agricultural crop used not only for bread production but also for fodder and thatched roofs. Our ears of rye come from local family farms. The ears are harvested at full maturity, then gently dried and dyed to a delicate powder shade. The stabilization process ensures their long durability and easy handling.
Care and maintenance
Dried ears are maintenance-free. Store them in a dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. If they get dusty, we recommend using a soft brush or cold air from a hairdryer. To revive them, you can use dried flower spray (e.g. SPRING pro florist).
