Origin and processing
Flax (Linum usitatissimum) is a traditional agricultural crop, known mainly for its oily seeds and strong fibres. Grown in Europe, after flowering it is hand-picked, dried, and then dyed with a chrome-gloss metallic colour.
Care and maintenance
Dried flax is maintenance-free. It does not require water or special care. Store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. If dusty, we recommend gently blowing it with cool air from a hair dryer or using a soft brush, or reviving it with a spray for dried plants (e.g. SPRING pro florist).
