Pine cones are among the classic elements of natural decoration. In addition to seasonal use, pine cones are also suitable for year-round decorations with a natural touch. They look great in a vase, a glass bowl, or as an addition to dried grasses and leaves.
Care and maintenance
Dried maritime pine cones are durable, resistant, and do not require any special care. Store them in a dry environment, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. This way, they will retain their shape, color, and natural scent of wood for a long time.
If dust settles on the surface, simply blow them gently with cold air or clean with a soft brush. For storage, we recommend a paper or fabric bag that allows air circulation – avoid plastic packaging that retains moisture.

These cones come from the maritime pine (Pinus maritima, syn. Pinus pinaster), which grows mainly in the coastal areas of France, Portugal, and Spain. It is a majestic tree whose cones grow up to 15 cm long and are characterized by firm, shiny scales with a subtle reddish-brown hue.
In the past, the maritime pine was also used to obtain resin and essential oils. Today, its cones are popular mainly in the field of decorations and floral accessories – for their natural look, durability, and ecological origin. Each piece is unique and carries a touch of the Mediterranean sea and sun.
