Usage and tips
Professional packaging of Keraquick casting powder in a 25 kg bag is ideal for workshops, floristry studios, decoration creators, and manufacturers who need a stable and high-quality material in bulk. It allows for the creation of extensive series of castings, relief panels, decorative elements, figures, medallions, pedestals, textured ornaments, and arrangement accessories. Thanks to its porcelain-like appearance after hardening, even larger decorations look elegant and professional.
Keraquick white paint provides a clean base for colouring, patinating or metallic finishes. It combines wonderfully with dried flowers, grasses, mosses, wood, pine cones or glass decorations and perfectly complements modern, vintage and boho arrangements.
How to work with the product
Mix the powder with water in a ratio of 3:1 (powder:water). For 1 kg of powder, use approximately 0.28 l of water, which will create approximately 0.65 l of quality casting compound. For large-scale production, we recommend mixing in smaller batches for maximum density control.
Pour half of the mixture into the mould first and spread it evenly over the walls with a brush to remove air bubbles. Top up with the remaining mixture and gently shake the mould. The casting can be removed after approximately 60 minutes, saving time in serial production.
You can colour the castings with acrylic paints, tints, patinas or sprays. To increase durability, we recommend a final acrylic varnish.
Care and maintenance
To maintain Keraquick's properties, store it in a dry, sealed container at a stable temperature. An opened package will last 1–2 years without loss of quality, provided it does not come into contact with moisture. Before applying in arrangements, ensure that the cast objects are completely cured and dry.
Protect finished decorations from direct sunlight and high humidity. Surface finishing with paints or varnish extends the lifespan of the casts and preserves their clean, porcelain look.
