Usage and tips
keraquick casting powder allows you to create your own decorative elements for florists and creative designers. Create mini figures, reliefs of flowers or leaves, decorative bases for bouquets, or small ornaments for glass containers. Once hardened, the objects resemble porcelain with a glossy surface, which you can paint, drill, or modify. The powder is white, so you can easily repaint or patina it according to the color palette of your arrangement.
Preparation
Mix the mass with water in a 3:1 ratio (3 parts powder to 1 part water). Mix thoroughly. Pour the finished mass into the casting mold up to about half and spread it with a brush over the entire mold. Then, pour the remaining mass into the mold. Gentle shaking will remove any bubbles from the mass and prevent their formation. You can remove the object from the mold after 60 minutes of setting. Even at this stage, you can color the object with acrylic paints or water-based paints.
Care and maintenance
An opened package will last 1-2 years if stored in dry conditions. Ensure the casting is completely hardened before using it in an arrangement. Let the colors dry thoroughly and, if necessary, apply a protective matte acrylic layer. Avoid humid areas and direct sunlight to maintain the quality of the cast and dried material.
