Usage and tips
Wood wool (shavings, wood fiber) in a 250 g package is a versatile natural material that finds application in arranging and in the home. It is ideal for gift wrapping, filling gift baskets, decorating, and creating creative arrangements. Even a small amount appears very voluminous – 1 kg is enough for more than 20 liters of filling.
In the garden, you can use it as nesting material for birds, in insect hotels, or as a protective layer for frost-sensitive plants. Thanks to its ability to absorb moisture, it is also practical on flower beds and at the same time looks decorative and naturally rustic.
Care and maintenance
Since it is a 100% natural product, it may contain residual moisture or fine sawdust dust. Upon delivery, we recommend opening the package and letting it stand in a dry place for at least one day to allow moisture to evaporate naturally. This way, the wood wool will retain its volume and fluffy appearance. When using, avoid direct contact with food that cannot be washed.

Wood wool was once most commonly used for packaging fragile goods and as bedding. Today, it is a popular material in floristry and decoration, as it adds an ecological and rustic touch to arrangements. It is fully biodegradable and kind to nature.
