Origin and processing
Amaranthus caudatus is among the traditional ornamental species cultivated mainly for its decorative tassels. It is grown in regions with a warm and dry climate, where it achieves the most intense colors. After harvesting, the plant is gently cleaned, sorted, and then stabilized — a process that replaces the natural sap with glycerin or another stabilizing mixture. Thanks to this, it retains its flexibility, color, and natural appearance for many months or even years. Burgundy shades are achieved through a combination of natural dark plant pigmentation and eco-friendly dyeing.
Care and maintenance
Do not expose flowers to direct sunlight or moisture – they could lose color or elasticity. They do not require water or any special care. If they become dusty, simply gently blow them with cool air from a hairdryer. After the season, you can use them again – as part of frames, wreaths, or dried pictures.
