Amaranthus cruentus was cultivated even in the time of the Aztecs, who used it as a sacred grain and decorative plant. It is harvested when the flower heads are fully developed, then dried gently to preserve its natural strength and texture. The burgundy color is natural, the flowers are undyed. Intended for decorative purposes.
Care and maintenance
Do not expose flowers to direct sunlight or moisture – they could lose color or elasticity. They do not require water or any special care. If they become dusty, simply gently blow them with cool air from a hairdryer. After the season, you can use them again – as part of frames, wreaths, or dried pictures.
